Welcome to Westside Vets, Shetland

Westside Vets have two surgeries in the Shetland Islands, one at Bixter and one at Scalloway, where we aim to provide a friendly and professional service to animals and their owners in Shetland.

Westside Vets is a mixed veterinary practice, so we treat pets, farm animals and horses and we also provide a service to the aquaculture industry. Inevitably, all the vets have their own areas of experience and interest, which gives a good range of expertise within the practice.

Our practice team includes five Veterinary Surgeons, three qualified Veterinary Nurses, our Practice Manager, Practice Administrator and a friendly and well-informed Reception Team. Westside Vets was inspected in October 2009 by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) and we were delighted to become an Accredited Practice under their Practice Standards Scheme.
